Latoya Brooks-Key, Ph.D., LCSW, LISW-CP, ACHT
Dr. Latoya Brooks-Key is a licensed independent social worker of clinical practice (LISW-CP) in South Carolina and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed in North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania. She is passionate about assisting people in their efforts to achieve wellness, wholeness, and emotional freedom.
She is a psychotherapist who has presented at numerous national and international conferences on topics related to sexuality, mental health, and diversity. Dr. Brooks-Key is a scholar, practitioner, and academic holding appointments at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs).
As a clinician and educator for well over a decade, Dr. Brooks-Key’s clinical practice includes general mental health issues, heart-centered hypnotherapy, sexuality topics, and intimacy issues, working with individuals within the LGBTQIA and BDSM/Kink communities, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Her ideal client is over the age of 18 years old, high functioning, and ready to actively engage in the process of healing and transformation.
Dr. Brooks-Key holds a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality and an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Widener University. She also completed an MA in Health, Family Life, and Sexuality Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University.
